Our journey began in 2003 when Mary Ann Spencer and Joyce Baldinucci founded The Tenth Muse Gallery in the heart of Maplewood Village. Over the years, the gallery became a cherished community gem, known for its exquisite artisan-made goods.

In October 2019, we transformed into Maker + Muse, the "2.0 version" of The Tenth Muse, under the new ownership of Brian Dittmar. With a refreshed name and look, our boutique continues to offer a curated collection of exceptional handcrafted items from some of the top independent makers around the world.
