Collection: Aron Lifschultz

Aron Lifschultz, founder of Designs by Aron in Maplewood, New Jersey, bases all his work on the following concepts: jewelry should be of original design, well crafted, uniquely suited to each individual, and perhaps most importantly, beautiful in its creation. He handcrafts each piece using a broad range of precious and semi-precious stones, punctuated by Swarovski crystal, fresh water pearls and sterling silver.

After taking metal art classes for three years with the noted metal artist, Sue Sachs, at Riker Hill Art Park in Livingston, New Jersey, his art evolved to include metal bracelets, cuffs, pendants, rings and earrings. These items are fabricated from sterling silver, brass and copper. Techniques used include “formfolding”, “forging”, “crushing” and making metal using a laminated process, similar to the Japanese mokume-gane. Taking his inspiration from nature, many of these pieces have a very organic look to them. All metal designs are hand soldered and are one of a kind.
