'Ripple' Annealed Brass Wall Hangings (Set of 3)

The Ripple Wall Hangings are hand-formed, creating a soft, undulating, three-dimensional form that feels as if it were floating off the wall. The annealing brass pulls copper to the surface to create a surface unique to each individual piece. The set should be hung intuitively to fit the space and each other.

Materials: The colorful wabi sabi surface of the annealed brass comes from heating the brass at high temperatures. Annealing softens brass so it can be shaped. The silver and pink colors are copper and zinc, which are pulled to the surface by the heat, while underneath the yellow brass remains. The unique variance of the surface makes each piece truly one of a kind.

Installation + Care: Intended for indoor use. Exposure to the elements will cause the natural patina process to accelerate. Wipe with a dry cloth.
